Bilbo Baggins Global Wine Cafe & Restaurant has been a staple in town since their inception in 1980s, and many know they’re about much more than just great wine! The interior welcomes you with a truly global feel as if you’re stepping into a little European cafe with eclectic decor and a homey feel. Beyond the perfect atmosphere, one thing that deserves a mention is their delicious weekend brunch. With one of the most extensive brunch menus in the area, you really can’t go wrong.
Start with some appetizers or tapas for the group to share. Favorites include the baked brie en croute with mango apricot chutney and fresh fruit, buttermilk fried jumbo oysters, and the stunning cheese plate for a perfect mix of sweet and savory. For entrees, they have lunch-friendly items in addition to an extensive list of brunch entrees with multiple varieties of french toast, omeletes, and Benedicts. The housemade raisin bread and New Orleans-style beignets also earn rave reviews, so grab a basket of that to complement your meal!
Reservations usually aren’t necessary, but if you have a large group it’s recommended you call ahead.
