It’s time to pair three amazing things into one fun event. That’s what the Old Town Beer, Wine and Dog Festival is all about. Come out from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17 to Waterfront Park to celebrate great local beverages and four-legged friends. This festival aims to provide a different way to go about the dog adoption process. It’s a way to socialize fostered and sheltered dogs, while also allowing them to connect with potential adopters in a relaxed environment.

Come sample craft beer and wine from local purveyors, and enjoy food from the community’s restaurants. Live music performances will take place, providing a party-like atmosphere. If you have a canine companion, bring them along, too. They will enjoy the leash-less dog park, where they can play with volunteers and furry friends just like them. Tickets are $5, and will help support the local Animal Welfare leagues, as well as fostering agencies like Lucky Dog Animal Rescue.
