‘Tis the season for all the fresh seafood, and the newest addition to Carlyle Park offers just that. Open just a few weeks, Whiskey & Oyster is taking the town by storm earning rave reviews.
Freshly imported oysters come in daily from as far north as Nova Scotia, as far south as North Carolina and as far west as Washington state, so you get to try a little bit of everything when visiting. They also strive to remain sustainable and are members of The Oyster Recovery Project, which cleans oyster shells after consumption, pairs them with baby oysters and brings them to the Chesapeake, ensuring the used shells don’t end up in a landfill.
The menu does serve up much more than just oysters though. The kungpao cauliflower app is getting rave reviews from vegetarians and meat lovers alike, so start with an order of those. Then move on to one of their incredible main dishes like the bourbon maple shrimp and grits or the lobster bouillabaisse steam pot.
Head to their website, or OpenTable to make a reservation to avoid the wait for this hot new spot.
